Private Pilot Licence
Obtaining your Private Pilot License (PPL) is easier than you may think and it allows for you to act as the pilot in command of aircraft while also carrying passengers! This is an entry level license that does have various restrictions which can be removed by getting additional ratings added onto your license as you gain knowledge and experience.
If you are interested in pursuing a career in aviation and are wanting to get your Commercial Pilot License (CPL) you must first get your PPL and build up from there.
PPL Conditions
- Cannot receive any type of compensation for flights
- Single engine / non-high performance aircraft only
- Day flying only in good weather (VFR) conditions
Additional Ratings
- Night Rating (to fly at night)
- Multi Engine Rating (aircraft with more than 1 engine)
Admission Requirements
- Minimum 17 years of age
- Valid Category 3 Aviation Medical**
- Language Proficiency Assessment
- Valid Passport
**It is strongly recommended that the medical is booked after your first flight if you wish to continue training. This ensures that there are no medical conditions that would prevent you from flying solo before the time comes.
